Every year, millions of animals are trafficked illegally around the world. And for every three animals illegally traded, IFAW estimates that 10 have sadly died during the smuggling process. This month-old pangolin pup was rescued after his mother was likely killed by poachers. Despite expert care from IFAW partner, the Wildlife Trust of India, he sadly succumbed to his trauma and injuries.
