This Great Lent has been a historic one for our monastery. Last Thursday, prior to the recent election of Igumen Gabriel to the abbacy and the tonsure of Abbot Seraphim to the Great Schema, we had our first meal in the new trapeza. In general, meal prep and cleanup has been running smoothly in the new building. There is ample room to accommodate the monastic brotherhood and our many pilgrims, a welcome and much needed change.
