Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety said they found 23 migrants in the sleeping area of a semi-truck near the U.S.-Mexico border on Nov. 28. Texas DPS officials said they stopped a driver and discovered he didn't have a commercial driver's license. While searching his vehicle, authorities found nearly two dozen people “stuffed inside the sleeping area of the truck” behind the front seats. The 24-year-old driver was arrested and charged with 23 counts of smuggling of persons. | C
