The National Australia Bank has agreed to pay a $49.5M settlement over allegations it sold junk insurance to tens of thousands of vulnerable customers. Law firm Slater and Gordon filed the class action last September. It's alleged NAB sold insurance to customers who were ineligible to claim, or unlikely to benefit, from the policy. The settlement, which is the first of its kind in the wake of the banking royal commission, is expected to be distributed to up to 100-thousand customers. www.7NEWS.c
