This is the reality of raising a child with level three autism. I stepped outside to let the dog out before my mom came over. I was gone for a few minutes. When I came back inside, Noah had snapped his laptop in half. People often ask why I don’t punish him for this. The answer is complicated. Noah has Level 3 autism. His brain doesn’t process cause and effect, consequences, or discipline the way most people’s brains do. A severe punishment wouldn’t teach him the lesson people assume it would. H

Today started a little late with breakfast, then helped Mom settle into her new rented home. We removed the old carpet, cleaned the room together, and made everything feel fresh and cozy. 🏡🧹 Ended the day with simple homemade Aloo Baingan and lots of family time.
