May 22, 2018 · They look like any other white box/import offering...probably same manufacturer as the GF stuff by the looks. As long as the materials are decent they will work and might sound great dependjng on the build. I have had some guitar fetish stuff that has surprised me and some that was meh. Pretty standard for most brands.

Feb 8, 2011 · Myth: Shielding will change the tone of the guitar. This is only true if you consider RF noise to be a part of the musical tone of a guitar. I consider RF to be unmusical noise. Totally undesirable. Common error: not doing a neat and thorough job, not grounding the shield properly.

Gold Hardware Tarnish/Oxidation--Can Anything be Done?
Jul 18, 2006 · Its a regular guitar polish made for wood, but it will clean off metals without much risk of damage. Ive used it a long time and it works well. But still the same caveat-- too much rubbing of any type (whether using any type of polish or not) can cause micro-scratching and wear -- especially on gold.
