To be honest I'm rather thankful for that. His kids did have it hard because of his mood swings, but they always felt loved. So I think he was a good parent.

There is still fear when we are in the same room with this guy. We keep track of his every movement. We aren't dissociating but there is this numbness. No feelings about anything.
