Feb 4, 2025 · Your best bet is to *probably* use the Deck docked, if it even manages to run MH Wilds. As for the benchmark itself, it doesn't crash at the start, at least. Did crash halfway through.

5 days ago · I ran a test on my Steam Deck, and sadly it's still looking like Monster Hunter Wilds will be unplayable on the device, with the game often running below 20 FPS during hunts, and only reaching above 30 FPS in interior scenes. Monster Hunter Wilds will launch on Steam on February 28th, 2025. You can pre-order or wishlist the game today.

Apparently it'll run much better overall on launch, so it'll likely run slightly worse than World does currently and I've played about 40-50 hours of World on my oled deck locked at 45 fps. 30 could be expected in Wilds, but VRAM may be the deciding factor.

Jan 25, 2024 · Official PC specs would give a better idea but I don't think that's out now. will it run? most likely. will it run well? highly doubt it. I played MHR for 150 hours on a Switch then Switch OLED (Handheld 30fps). If Wilds comes to Switch, I don‘t see how Deck cannot run it.
