Netflix is the new home for the beloved children's TV show, the streaming platform announced Monday along with a special video of Cookie Monster eating the Netflix logo.

Once Max — formerly HBO Max, soon to be HBO Max again — declined to renew its contract with PBS last year, Netflix should’ve immediately been on the phone with an offer.

It comes nearly 56 years after Sesame Street first appeared on PBS, where new episodes will air as well, Netflix says, the same day they become available to stream.
