HBO has released another action-packed trailer for Season 2 of its hit post-apocalyptic drama The Last Of Us. The trailer is not much for story, teasing the action without any need for dialogue.

The new year just got merrier for The Last of Us fans since it's only a matter of months now till the second season is released.

The Last of Us will return for its second season at HBO in April 2025, and the release date announcement trailer promises lots of zombies and pain.

In a new teaser dropped Tuesday (January 7), the streamer announced that its popular adaptation of the post-apocalyptic PlayStation video game would be premiering this April. The trailer gives a first look at Abby, a pivotal character and the main antagonist from the video game sequel The Last of Us: Part II, on which season two is based.

We now know when 'The Last of Us' will return for season two. The series will return in April, with a specific premiere date to be announced at a later date. Co-creator, writer and executive producer Neil Druckmann announced the news during Sony's press conference at CES on Monday.
