For the third time in two weeks, Newark Liberty International Airport air traffic controllers overseeing the busy New Jersey airport were temporarily unable to contact pilots.

The FAA says over the weekend another air traffic equipment outage resulted in a ground stop for arriving flights at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says flights in and out of Newark will be scaled back.
