Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter, a 2024 All-American and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, agent Drew Rosenhaus told UPI on Friday. Carter is a projected first-round pick.

Junior defensive end Abdul Carter will forgo his final year of college eligibility and declare for the NFL Draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday morning. The edge rusher has widely been regarded as one of this year’s top overall prospects with an early first-round grade. He will be represented by NFL super agent Drew Rosenhaus.
