You know what? Maybe Trump got his meager crowd size confused with the No Kings Day protest crowds that were erupting not just all around the country, but around the entire world.
Approximately 42,000 people rallied around the state, with 16,500 in Burlington alone, according to 50501 Vermont organizers.
Trump turned 79 on June 14, 2025, same day as No Kings Day rallies, with some down the road from Mar-a-Lago. More protests are planned July 4 weekend.

As many of us mark July 4th with celebrations and fireworks, some Roanoke residents decided to spend the day protesting Donald Trump and his administration as part of the national “No Kings” protests.
Among the largest of the June 14 protests in 50501 Vermont’s data were in Burlington, with 16,500 people; 5,000 in White River Junction and neighboring Lebanon, New Hampshire; and 3,000 in Brattleboro. The sole pro-Trump gathering, in Montpelier, had about 30 people in attendance.
On June 14th, the “No Kings” protest in Philadelphia drew an estimated 80,000 people in a powerful demonstration against the Trump administration, coinciding with Flag Day and Donald Trump’s birthday.
