MLB commissioner Rob Manfred admitted that President Donald Trump is part of the reason that Pete Rose could be heading to Cooperstown. Talking to Evan Drellich of The Athletic, Manfred said that Trump played a part in the controversial decision to lift the lifetime ban imposed on Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader.
