HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Police Department said one of its officers was injured in a shooting during a road rage incident overnight. According to police, Officer J. Parker was on his way to work when he was shot on Gessner at Hempstead Highway in northwest Houston around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

An early Saturday morning party in southwest Houston led to a shooting that killed one person and injured five.
