Dinoland USA at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to close for redevelopment this month
The clock is ticking for fans of Disney’s Dinoland USA. Much like the dinosaurs themselves, this part of Disney’s Animal Kingdom will soon be going extinct.
Here’s what’s closing and staying open for now at Dinoland USA
Many had long speculated that a Dinoland U.S.A. closure was coming. In March 2020, Primeval Whirl, a steel Wild Mouse roller coaster, closed permanently and was not replaced with a new ride. As was also shared at the D23 Expo in 2023, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro said Dinoland was being reimagined into something completely different.
