Inter Milan secured a 2-0 victory over River Plate to advance to the Club World Cup's second round. Francesco Pio Esposito scored in the 72nd minute on Wednesday night's match, just after River Plate’s Lucas Martínez Quarta received a red card.

Inter Milan and River Plate meet up on Wednesday, fighting for first place Group E, while also looking to simply punch their tickets to the knockout stage of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Inter Milan take on River Plate on Wednesday, June 25, at Lumen Field in Seattle. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET or 6 p.m. PT. That makes it an 2 a.m. BST start in the UK and an 11 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Thursday morning.
