Timberwolves coach Chris Finch revealed some points of emphasis for rookie Rob Dillingham for his rookie campaign.

Putting DiVincenzo in the starting lineup also gives him a role closer to what he had in New York last season when he thrived as a spark-plug shooter and defender for the Knicks. He started 68 games in the regular season and every playoff game for New York.

Julius Randle was a key to the Timberwolves' victory against the Pelicans, and Chris Finch gave him his flowers.

Finch did not mention the change during his pregame media availability. The Wolves ruled out Rob Dillingham due to a right ankle sprain. Josh Minott, listed as questionable due to illness, is active against the Clippers, who are at full strength aside from P.J. Tucker, who's been away from the team since October.

A low-energy performance in Detroit was just the latest example of Minnesota's lack of cohesion and chemistry.
