Call it a symphony for dissolution. American thrash metal giants Megadeth have announced their forthcoming album will be their last. They will also embark on a farewell tour in 2026.

An Ohio-based band will hold some early listening parties across the Miami Valley for their upcoming album. Twenty One Pilots, the Columbus-based band, will release its new album, “Breach,” on September 12, according to its website. The band is planning a global listening event at record stores before the album’s release.

"Don't be mad, don't be sad, be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years," said Dave Mustaine in a statement about Megadeth's retirement.
