Occidental Petroleum ( OXY) Fell to its lowest level in more than six weeks following a downgrade from Goldman Sachs. The Wall Street analyst’s downgrade included a target price change that moved from $54 a share to $45.00 a share. Occidental Petroleum shares traded as low as $45.00 in December.

Tesla, IBM and Meta Platforms helped lead most U.S. stocks higher on Thursday following a rush of profit reports from some of the country’s most influential companies. The S&P 500 rose 0.5%, as four out of every five stocks in the index climbed.
