Charges in the February death of Adan Manzano, a Telemundo TV sports reporter in the New Orleans area to cover the Super Bowl, have been upgraded to second-degree murder, the Kenner (Louisiana) Police Department said Tuesday.

Murder charges have been filed in connection with the death of a Kansas City-based reporter during Super Bowl week in New Orleans.

Rickey White was charged with fraud and robbery. He is the second person arrested in the Adam Manzano death investigation.
