Student protests have drawn huge crowds and struck a chord among the citizens who are disillusioned with politicians and have lost faith in Serbia’s state institutions.

More than 100,000 protesters converged in Serbia's capital Belgrade in what was likely the largest in a series of anti-corruption demonstrations that have upended the Balkan country in recent months.
