The CBI is investigating the RG Kar rape and murder case, focusing on three doctors seen at the hospital on August 9. Two government orders related to their presence are under scrutiny, with suspicions of a possible fake order.

As per CBI, Dr Birupaksha Biswas was seen at the hospital on August 9 – the day of the crime – despite no official engagement there.

The CBI, which has analysed his call details, say Sandip Ghosh had spoken to Tala Police station officer in-charge and hospital officials multiple times before reaching the scene of the crime
