A bus carrying the Indiana University Indianapolis men’s basketball team caught fire on Sunday. Per a post from IU Indy Athletics on X, the men’s basketball team was on its way back from a road game against Northern Kentucky when the fire started.

IU Indianapolis had its bus catch on fire around Kent, Indiana during the team's trip home from Sunday's game at Northern Kentucky.

“On the return drive from today’s game against Northern Kentucky, the bus carrying the IU Indianapolis men’s basketball team experienced a mechanical issue, that caused a fire around Kent, Indiana,” the team’s athletic department tweeted at 6:22 p.m. ET on Sunday night.
