Winter weather advisory for Sunday in Connecticut
People continue to dig out from the seasons first major storm in Connecticut. Meantime, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory beginning Sunday at 7pm until 6am Monday.
Wind is causing power outages in parts of Connecticut Friday; the advisory for high winds included Hartford, New Haven, Middlesex, Tolland and Windham counties, according to the National Weather Service.
Some Connecticut community centers will be closed Friday and Saturday and some events have been canceled as the state braces for a major winter storm.
