In the middle of another losing season, Chicago Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson is preaching patience.

At the time of Davidson's speech, the Blackhawks sit dead-last in the NHL standings with a 15-29-5 record and 35 total points, albeit with four games in hand over the 31st-ranked San Jose Sharks.

The Blackhawks are again among the NHL's worst teams, but GM Kyle Davidson is preaching patience, saying the team's rebuild will "take time."

Davidson spoke with the media Monday and acknowledged his team isn't where he wants it to be — but he's confident in its direction.
