In an official Instagram post (viewable here ), luxury eyeglass and sunglass brand Ray-Ban announced Asap Rocky to be its inaugural Creative Director. “Introducing A$AP ROCKY as the first Creative Director for Ray-Ban,” wrote the company.

A$AP Rocky's new job comes on the heels of him being acquitted of two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in connection to the alleged November of 2021 shooting of A$AP Relli , on Tuesday (Feb. 19). Following a 14-day trial, the jury found Rocky not guilty, despite many jurors not believing the rapper's story.

A$AP Rocky is tasked with reinventing the brand, starting with a new collection this April. An iconic eyewear brand has a new creative icon at its helm.
