The painstaking recovery efforts continue for around 100 people still missing following the devastating July Fourth flooding along the Guadalupe River in central Texas.

At a news conference Monday, state officials said 101 people remain missing, including 97 in the Kerrville area.

For the first time since the deadly July Fourth flooding in the Texas Hill Country, Kerr County has no flood advisories or rain in the forecast, allowing search crews to continue their work looking for the bodies of 97 missing people.
