Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian shared a joke with his team Monday morning as the Longhorns began preparations for a trip to Arkansas. "I don't know what (former Texas coach) Darrell Royal did to Arkansas back in the day, but they absolutely hate our guts," Sarkisian said. "And I think we learned that the first time around when we went there."

The most obvious example came in the first quarter when Sarkisian settled on a play that called for a faked sweep and inside handoff to dress up an end-around for Isaiah Bond. Tyreek Sapp, manning the edge for Florida, bit on the play fake, leaving Bond out in space with a convoy in front of him.
