BEREA, Ohio — Browns starting cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. spoke before practice of doing a lot of soul-searching in the offseason to get back to his elite level of play. By the afternoon, he was being carted off the practice field in tears on Day 6 of Browns training camp with what appeared to be a serious lower left leg injury.

The Browns will officially be without Martin Emerson Jr., who will undergo surgery and miss the entirety of the 2025 season
