Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said the US had helped in ‘alleviating’ the threat of nuclear capability for Tehran.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has called on Iran to "return to the negotiating table" after the US became involved in the Israeli operation against the country on Saturday night. Sir Keir said "stability in the region is a priority" and described Iran's nuclear programme as "a grave threat to international security".
