Dozens of cats across the U.S. have tested positive for avian flu, federal officials say. The west coast has been hit especially hard.

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today announced that it is awarding $306 million more in funding to support the nation's response to H5N1 avian flu.

The guidelines recommend a 4-month drug regimen for adults and children with drug-susceptible TB, and a 6-month regimen for those with drug-resistant TB.
