There are various ways to get to Glastonbury Festival such as by train, bus, bike or car. A free shuttle-bus service will be provided between the festival site and the nearest train station at Castle Cary from today. National Express is running coaches to the festival gates from more than 90 locations across the UK.

Glastonbury, the world's largest greenfield music festival, opened its gates on Wednesday to around 200,000 ticket holders who will see performers ranging from Olivia Rodrigo to Rod Stewart and Charli xcx.

The gates to Glastonbury Festival have opened for the 2025 celebration of performing arts and music. Organiser Emily Eavis and her father, co-founder Sir Michael Eavis, could be seen counting down and cheering as the festival officially opened while a brass band played.
