ARLINGTON — When it came to running back Malik Davis, Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer didn’t let recent events affect his memory. Davis had the longest touchdown run the franchise has had in over three years on Thursday when he scored from 43 yards out in a win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Davis will play for Dallas against the Lakers Friday after missing just under a month due to a calf strain, according to a Friday afternoon report from Shams Charania of ESPN. It's been a few weeks since Nico Harrison was fired as the Dallas Mavericks' general manager, but it's been almost a month since we've seen Anthony Davis take the floor for the Mavs. He's dealt with a calf strain that has kept him out since he went down against the Indiana Pacers on October 30th, costing him the last 14 games.
