A recent recall of frosted sugar cookies sold under one of Target's in-house brands was initiated over foreign materials that could pose some risk for consumers. Stores in at least 20 states received the cookies,

The recall, voluntarily initiated July 22 by Give and Go Prepared Food Corps., applies to Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies sold in packs of 10 with Lot number 251915. According to the FDA, the reason for the recall was because the cookies could contain pieces of wood.

The notice did not specify whether the affected cookies were distributed to all NY Target stores or just some and, if so, which ones.
