Search and rescue teams have recovered a deceased hunter at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in southern Colorado.

The rescue and recovery efforts of a hunter who was found dead by his brother in October at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in Mosca, Colorado, was recently detailed by Alamosa Volunteer Search and Rescue (AVSAR) on Thursday,

Following a tragic accident during a hunting trip, the body of a deceased hunter was recovered from the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

A hunter at Great Sand Dunes National Park was found dead after not returning back to camp on the night of Oct. 30.
