LSU women's basketball's SEC opener at Arkansas was never in doubt. The No. 4 Tigers j um ped out to a 9-0 lead early and Arkansas never got as close as that. LSU led by 25 points at halftime and drove the gap up to more than 40 points with more than 3:00 minutes left in the third quarter.

Sunday will mark the first time Arkansas has played a game in Austin, Texas, in an arena other than the Frank Erwin Center — which hosted Texas men’s and women’s basketball games from 1977-2022. The Moody Center opened in 2022, and demolition of the Erwin Center was completed in May 2024.
