U.N. atomic watchdog chief Rafael Grossi appealed to Iran's leadership on Tuesday to take steps to resolve longstanding issues with his agency a day before he arrives in the Iranian capital for crunch talks over its nuclear programme.

The IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi will travel to Tehran this week. He plans to meet with the Iranian government, according to the IAEA website. Grossi plans to hold high-level meetings with the Iranian government and hold technical discussions on all aspects related to the Joint Statement agreed with Iran in March 2023.
