The Hoosiers (15-8, 7-5 Big Ten) led with 2 minutes, 24 seconds to go, but lost 70-67 to a Michigan team that eliminated them from the Big Ten tournament last season. The Wolverines (17-7, 8-5) pulled out the victory despite a dominant performance from IU's Karoline Striplin, who scored 28 points (one shy of her career-high) on 12 of 19 shooting.

Looking to bounce back from its road loss to Minnesota on Feb. 9, Indiana women’s basketball took the road again to face Michigan on Wednesday at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was a back-and-forth affair between the Hoosiers and the Wolverines, but ultimately, Indiana fell to Michigan 67-70.

Now Indiana’s 7 p.m. ET game at Michigan takes on added weight. The Wolverines are a half-game ahead of Indiana. Indiana needs to get a split in this road swing, but Michigan has been playing well. The Wolverines are fresh off of a 71-61 road win at No. 20 Michigan State, and they have won six of their last nine games.
