The Rustic joins neighboring restaurants Xochi, Biggio's and Grotto Downtown at Avenida Houston, the entertainment district near the George R. Brown Convention Center.

A rustic kitchen is typically designed with distressed wood finishes, greenery, and brass or copper hardware. So, in order to complement these natural tones, look for shades of beige, cream, and gray.

The Rustic — a restaurant concept created by Dallas-based FreeRange Concepts and Texas country artist Pat Green — is now open at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport.

The Rustic's first Houston location opened downtown in 2018. The Uptown Park location is 27,000 square feet, including the patio, and has hired around 250 people.
