Disneyland Resort is booting Mike, Sulley and "Monsters, Inc." in favor of a new attraction built around “Avatar: The Way of Water.”

Big changes are coming to the Disneyland Resort in California. The iconic park that Walt built will add some new attractions and remove others while improving the transit situation to and from the park.

Mike and Sulley’s days are numbered at Disneyland. Disney California Adventure Park’s Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! attraction, based on the beloved Disney and Pixar film, will close to make room for the park's upcoming Avatar destination.
