Decision comes 24 hours after Hornets’ scheduled game vs. LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night was postponed.

As wildfires continue to rage through parts of Los Angeles, covering the entire region in smoke and ash, the NBA has postponed the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena and between the Charlotte Hornets and LA Clippers at Intuit Dome games, both scheduled for Saturday.

The NBA on Friday postponed Saturday’s San Antonio Spurs- Los Angeles Lakers game in Los Angeles and the Charlotte Hornets- Los Angeles Clippers game in Inglewood, California, “due to the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area ,” the league announced in a news release.

The NBA has rescheduled two games postponed due to catastrophic wildfires in Southern California, as well as a game postponed due to a winter storm in Atlanta. The league announced Wednesday that the Los Angeles Lakers’ Jan.

Tuesday’s matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers was one of eight games rescheduled by the NBA due to the California wildfires. The Bulls were originally scheduled to play the Clippers at Intuit Dome on Tuesday night.
