Boeing outperformed its European rival Airbus for the second month in a row, delivering 44 aircraft in February 2025, while Airbus delivered 40 aircraft.

Boeing Co. delivered 44 jets in February, including 32 of its 737 family models, beating its European rival Airbus SE for a second consecutive month.

So far in 2024, the American aerospace giant has handed over 89 commercial planes, surpassing Airbus ( OTCPK:EADSF) ( OTCPK:EADSY ), which has completed 65 deliveries. This differences marks a rare advantage for Boeing ( BA) in a competition that has largely favored the European manufacturer in recent years.

Boeing has spent the last year preparing to ramp up production after a midair panel blowout slowed everything down in January 2024. It's starting to see progress.

Boeing said on Tuesday it delivered 44 aircraft in February, up from 27 in the same month a year ago, as it works to stabilize and then increase production of its 737 MAX and 787 models.
