CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia leaders and travelers reacted to the devastating tragedy that took place in Washington D.C., when a passenger plane carrying 64 people and an Army Black Hawk helicopter three-person crew collided midair and crashed into the Potomac River Wednesday night just short of Reagan National Airport.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A Thursday morning flight from West Virginia International Yeager Airport to Reagan National Airport has been canceled. The cancellation comes after all flights from the airport near Washington were halted following a midair collision between a commercial passenger jet and a military helicopter Wednesday night.
