The first-round pick out of Virginia is averaging 7.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 40 games. The 6-foot-8 Dunn has started 24 games as he replaced Beal in the starting lineup.

Golden State and Phoenix will square off in a matchup of Western Conference opponents. The teams square off Friday for the first time this season.

Dunn, the No. 28 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, has quickly developed into one of the NBA's top rookies and premier defenders.
