Voters hit the polls across the country on Tuesday, weighing in on everything from high-stakes political races to municipal funding.

Lachlan Francis, a political consultant from Westminster, beat out Justin Willeau of Vershire for the job in a 33-12 vote at the party’s biennial reorganization.

The seven candidates were chosen from among twenty-six nominees, each nominated by their school for the 2025 Statewide Election.

Gray, who served as LG from 2020 to 2022 before an unsuccessful bid for Congress, said she's ready to return to politics.

Fifth graders around the state voted last week for one of seven Kid Governor candidates. The election results will be announced next week.
