The Houston Rockets have been linked to Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker in trade rumors for a while at this point. With the Suns' draft future in the hands of the Rockets, the two sides could make sense as partners for a deal for one of Phoenix's stars.

The up-and-coming Houston Rockets have taken the NBA by surprise in 2024-25, as the mixed group of star prospects and veteran mentors currently possess a 37-22 record and position as the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference.

Houston has young pieces and picks to make a trade for either worthwhile, and there's no question that either star would make the Rockets contenders, although it would close a chapter on this disappointing era of the Suns' basketball, which could be for the best.

The Houston Rockets announced the team has signed forward David Roddy to a two-way contract. Roddy (6-4, 225) most recently served as a two-way player with the Philadelphia 76ers after his 10-day contract with the team ended.
