The NBA has announced new dates for four games as a result of the winter storm’s impact on the Memphis and Dallas areas.

With teams unable to travel safely, the NBA was left to reshuffle several dates to keep the season moving and minimize further disruption.

The Dallas Mavericks are struggling going into the trade deadline, but there is reason for hope.

NBA matchups between the Nuggets and Grizzlies as well as the Mavericks and Bucks were among the sports events postponed because of the winter storm across much of the United States.

The Dallas Mavericks’ game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday has been postponed because the Mavericks have been unable to fly out of the Metroplex amid icy weather. The game “has been postponed due to the Mavericks inability to leave Dallas a result of inclement weather in the area,” the NBA said in a statement.

"After completing their two-game series with the Wolves on Monday, the Grizzlies will go into the All-Star break with their longest road trip of the season (five games over eight days). Their best shot at getting back in the SoFi Play-In Tournament mix may be a back-to-back in Portland over the weekend."
