Steven Spielberg is now an EGOT winner. The filmmaker added to his legendary resume with a Grammy Award for the documentary "Music by John Williams."

Steven Spielberg has joined the illustrious EGOT club. The filmmaker achieved EGOT status, winning a Grammy Award in the best music film category for the documentary “Music by John Williams,” a tribute to his longtime collaborator and the composer behind some of cinema’s most enduring scores.

Steven Spielberg has become one of the rare few to achieve the elusive EGOT. On Sunday, the screenwriter, director and producer was inducted into the elite cohort when he won his first Grammy Award, with the Disney+ documentary Music by John Williams he produced earning Best Music Film.

Steven Spielberg completed the awards grand slam and joined the EGOT club. His Grammy win for the film “Music by John Williams” can go in his trophy case next to his three Oscars, four Primetime Emmys (and many more daytime Emmys) and a Tony as a producer of the musical “A Strange Loop.
