Faith Kipyegon on Thursday fell short in her quest to become the first woman in history to run a four-minute mile, clocking a time of 4:06.42 at a Nike-organized event in Paris.

The four-minute mile barrier is still intact, but Olympic Gold Medalist Faith Kipyegon completed the fastest mile a woman has ever run on Thursday.Following her training in Kenya, the technology in her ‘flysuit’ developed by Nike in Beaverton,
